About Us
We are a small fine furniture business on Vancouver Island, BC who specialize in custom handmade furniture. We take pride in our quality of work paired with custom designs to maximize both the beauty and functionality of every piece.
Our owner Marc grew up in Shawnigan Lake, BC just minutes away from the historic Kinsol Trestle. At a young age this massive structure instilled a sense of awe and wonder of what can be created with wood. After 10 plus years doing high end carpentry, Marc moved to Errington and is currently constructing his dream shop.
Our main focus is providing our clients with high end and quality driven products that will transform any space. Sustainability and supporting our local wood suppliers is very important to us at KCF. Whenever possible all of the wood we use in our products comes from local urban and windfall salvage giving these trees a second life as a beautiful piece of furniture and saving them from the landfill or the chipper.
